Carrol has devoted over 38 years to the industry, developing extensive expertise and a deep passion for horse racing and breeding that began at age 16. His commitment to excellence has shaped the reputation of Whispering Oaks Farm in Louisiana.

Industry Experience and Leadership

Carrol Castille’s involvement in the horse racing and breeding community is extensive. He currently serves on the Louisiana Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association board and has previously contributed to the Horsemen’s Benevolent and Protective Association. In addition, Carrol actively participates in both the Louisiana Thoroughbred Association and the Louisiana Quarter Horse Association, supporting the advancement of these organizations and the industry at large.

Breeding Program

Whispering Oaks Farm is recognized for introducing top U.S. stallion bloodlines to Louisiana, which has contributed significantly to strengthening the state’s breeding program. For 2026, the farm is standing six distinguished stallions:
